MICHAEL R. MORTON, AIA

Michael Morton was born in San Diego and graduated for California Polytechnic University. His professional career continued to develop his design skills as a designer/architect in several award-winning San Diego architectural firm and supervise large projects, including San Pasqual Union School and Children’s Hospital expansion. In 1988 he received his license to practice architecture in California & accepted to the American Institute of Architects. In the spring of 2003 he co-founded Marengo Morton Architects, with partner Claude-Anthony Marengo.

CLAUDE-ANTHONY MARENGO

Claude-Anthony or CA, as he is known to many in the profession, possesses over 25 years’ experience in the Coastal design and entitlement process throughout the coastal region of California. With a high concentration of projects focused in the La Jolla and Greater San Diego region he has also processed significant developments as far north as Vallejo, west to Catalina Island and south to Imperial Beach. He has been a principal in a predominant La Jolla firm for the past 20 years and has maintained a partnership in a firm in Paris, France which was started 25 years ago.

DEBORAH MARENGO

Deborah possesses over 25 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. During her career she has held senior positions as an Asset/Property Manager for national real estate developers and asset firms with extensive portfolios. She has been involved with the development, lease up and tenant improvements for diverse projects. These projects consisted of commercial, industrial, multi-family and adaptive re-use. In 2001, Deborah left her position and joined Marengo Morton Architects as Vice President.  She has been instrumental in the Asset Management of the firm.
